Editorial standards

How we publish.

The standard every page on this site is held to before it is published.

The standard

  • Every page has a named author with a profile page listing credentials and affiliations.
  • Every factual claim is traceable to a primary source listed on the page, or to the author’s documented first-hand experience, stated as such.
  • Every page carries a publication date and a revision date, and is reviewed at least every 180 days.
  • Drafting tools, including AI systems, are used under the author’s direction; every claim is verified by a named person before publication. The author signs the page because the knowledge is theirs.
  • We do not publish content we would not put in front of an auditor.
  • Corrections are made in place, dated and noted at the foot of the page.
  • We do not accept payment for placement, links or mentions.
  • Client case notes are anonymized and approved by the client before publication.
