Executive and board-level compliance reporting
Executive and board-level compliance reporting gives leadership a clear, recurring view of the organization’s compliance position: which obligations apply, the status of each, the findings open against them, the deadlines ahead and the decisions required. It is needed when a board or audit committee has oversight responsibility for compliance and receives it as fragments, when several regimes apply and nobody holds the whole picture, or when a certification, contract or regulation requires demonstrable governance. The reporting produces a compliance register of obligations with owners and status, a recurring report in a stable format that leadership can compare period to period, and a record of the decisions leadership made, which is itself evidence of governance.

Questions
Asked before engaging.
How is this different from executive risk reporting?
Risk reporting covers exposure. Compliance reporting covers obligations and their status. Many clients receive both in one cycle.
Can this feed a management review for ISO/IEC 27001?
Yes. The report structure is designed to satisfy management review requirements as well as board oversight.
Will the board understand it?
It is written for them: obligations, status, decisions. Technical detail stays in the appendix and the evidence index.
