Remediation planning
Remediation planning turns a list of findings from an assessment, an audit, a penetration test or an incident into a plan that the organization can execute: what is fixed first, by whom, with what effort, in what order and with what evidence of completion. It is needed when findings have accumulated faster than they are closed, when the same findings reappear in successive audits, when ownership is unclear, or when a deadline from a customer, regulator or certification body makes prioritization unavoidable. Planning produces a consolidated register of findings from every source with duplicates removed, a ranking by exposure and obligation rather than by severity label alone, a sequenced plan with owners, dates and dependencies, and the verification step that confirms each item is actually closed.

- Consolidation of findings from all sources into one register
- Ranking by exposure, obligation and effort
- Sequencing with dependencies and quick wins identified
- Ownership, dates and resource estimates
- Verification criteria for closure
- Progress reporting to leadership and to the party that raised the findings

Questions
Asked before engaging.
Do you perform the remediation?
Where you want us to, yes, within the scope of our services. The plan is designed so your team or any provider can execute it.
How do you rank findings from different tools and reports?
By the exposure they create in your environment and the obligation they affect, not by the label each tool assigned.
Can the plan be shared with an auditor or customer?
Yes. A credible plan with owners and dates is often what closes an audit finding or satisfies a customer.
