Security monitoring coordination
Security monitoring coordination makes sure the monitoring an organization already pays for produces action: the alerts reach someone, the right ones are prioritized, the noise is tuned out, the escalation paths are defined and the records exist to prove it. It is needed when a monitoring platform or managed detection provider generates alerts that nobody reviews, when the organization has no in-house security operations function, when an audit or customer asks who watches the environment, or after an incident revealed that an alert was raised and not acted on. Coordination produces a defined monitoring scope and alert handling procedure, tuned alert rules with the reasoning recorded, a weekly review of what was raised and what was done, and the evidence trail that an auditor samples.

Questions
Asked before engaging.
Do you replace our managed detection provider?
No. We coordinate what you have and make it accountable. Where a provider is underperforming, the review will show it.
Is this 24-hour monitoring?
Coordination ensures someone owns every alert and that escalation works. Round-the-clock eyes-on-glass is provided by the monitoring provider in scope.
What does the auditor see?
A procedure, a tuning record and a weekly review trail. That is more than most organizations can show.
