Vulnerability management program review
A vulnerability management program review is an independent assessment of how an organization discovers, prioritizes, remediates and verifies the closure of security weaknesses across its systems. It is needed when a scanner produces thousands of findings nobody acts on, when an auditor or customer asks for proof that critical vulnerabilities are closed within a stated window, or before a certification such as ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 or CMMC. The review produces a scored assessment of coverage, cadence, prioritization logic, ownership, remediation time by severity and evidence quality, with a remediation plan ranked by exposure rather than by scanner count. It takes two to four weeks for a mid-sized environment and is delivered under the client’s name where required.

Questions
Asked before engaging.
How is this different from a penetration test?
A penetration test finds weaknesses on a date. A program review assesses whether the organization will find and fix them every week without us.
Do you run the scanner?
We review your scanner and its output. Where none exists we specify one; we do not resell them.
Can this be delivered under our MSP’s name?
