Data center operational support
Data center operational support provides the day-to-day and scheduled technical work that keeps a data center or colocation environment running: equipment installation and decommissioning, rack and cable management, firmware and maintenance windows, environmental and capacity monitoring, access coordination and the documentation that auditors and customers ask for. It is needed when an organization operates a data center without a full operations team, when a colocation footprint is far from the staff who manage it, when a customer requires documented operational procedures, or when operational quality has drifted. The support produces operating procedures for the environment, scheduled and on-demand work under change control, monitoring and capacity reporting, and the operational records that demonstrate control.

Questions
Asked before engaging.
Do you operate the facility itself?
We operate the technical environment within it and coordinate with the facility or colocation provider for power, cooling and physical security.
Can you support a colocation site we rarely visit?
Yes. Scheduled visits, on-demand work and remote hands coordination cover sites the organization cannot staff.
What records will an auditor see?
Change records, access records, maintenance records and the operating procedures they follow.
