SIEM / log management support
SIEM and log management support ensures that the logs an organization needs for detection, investigation and compliance are actually collected, retained, searchable and used. It is needed when log sources are missing or silently stopped, when a SIEM was deployed and never tuned, when retention does not meet a regulatory or contractual requirement, or when an investigation discovered that the logs it needed did not exist. The support produces a log source inventory against what detection and compliance require, verified collection and retention for each source, detection content tuned to the environment, and a documented operating practice: who reviews, what is searched, what is retained and for how long.
Scope
What the review covers.
- Log source inventory against detection and compliance requirements
- Collection health: sources, parsing, gaps and silent failures
- Retention and storage against obligations
- Detection rules and correlation tuned to the environment
- Search and investigation procedures
- Operating practice and ownership

Questions
Asked before engaging.
Which SIEM do you support?
The one you have. We are vendor-neutral and work in the platform the organization runs.
Do we need a SIEM at all?
Not always. Smaller environments may meet their needs with cloud-native logging and a managed provider. The inventory shows what the obligation actually requires.
How do you handle sources that stop sending logs?
Collection health monitoring with alerts on silence is part of the operating practice.
