ISO/IEC 42001
ISO/IEC 42001 is the international standard, published in 2023, for an artificial intelligence management system, against which an organization can be certified.

The standard applies to organizations that develop, provide or use AI systems. It requires an AI policy, defined roles, risk and impact assessments for AI systems, controls selected from its annex, lifecycle processes and the records that show the system operates: internal audit, management review, incident handling and supplier management. It shares structure with ISO/IEC 27001, so an organization with a security management system can integrate the two.
