How quickly can the new site be live?

The build is the fast part. A static site on Cloudflare Pages can be deployed in days once the architecture, design system and content exist; what takes time is the discovery and information architecture that must precede design, the migration inventory and redirect map that protect rankings, and the content that must be captured, verified and signed before it is published. A rebuild that goes live before those are done is a launch that costs rankings and citations. Timelines are stated in the proposal for each organization, with the migration monitored for weeks after cutover.

In more detail

The reasoning.

Structure precedes appearance: the architecture is agreed as documentation and a navigable skeleton before design and content are invested in it. The design system follows, then the templates in code, then content migration and the new pages.

A practical sequence for a practice site: discovery and architecture, design system, build and migration with parity checks, cutover in a low-traffic window, monitoring. Content continues to arrive on the capture schedule after launch; the site does not wait for all of it.

See discovery and information architecture, web design and build and will a redesign hurt our rankings.
