Cost per qualified inquiry

Cost per qualified inquiry is the spend, by source, divided by the number of inquiries from that source that the business would recognize as genuine prospects.

Extended definition

In more detail.

It depends on a written definition of a qualified inquiry, conversion tracking that counts real inquiries rather than platform-counted conversions, attribution that includes calls, and reconciliation against the inquiries the business actually received. Measured consistently, it allows paid search and earned demand to be compared on the same basis and shows when earned demand has become the cheaper source. It is the economic measure every growth engagement reports.

In our work

Where it appears.

Cost per qualified inquiry is established at the baseline audit and trended in the monthly evidence report.
