Flat-fee media management
Flat-fee media management is paid advertising management for a fixed fee unrelated to the advertising budget, so the manager has no financial interest in increasing spend.
Extended definition
In more detail.
The conventional alternative pays the manager a percentage of spend, which rewards larger budgets and discourages advice to spend less. A flat fee removes the conflict: the manager is paid the same whether spend rises, holds or falls, and can recommend reductions as earned demand replaces paid demand. Accounts remain in the client’s name and the handback is planned from the start.
