DefinedTerm schema
DefinedTerm schema is structured data that marks a page as the definition of a specific term, placed within a DefinedTermSet that represents the glossary it belongs to.

Each term page states the term, its definition and the set it belongs to; the glossary hub represents the set. Engines use the markup to recognize that the page defines a term and to attribute “what is” answers to it. Because definition prompts are among the most common, a glossary with DefinedTerm markup is one of the most efficient citation assets an organization can build, provided the definitions are precise and the terms are the ones buyers use.
