Organization schema

Organization schema is the structured data block that identifies the organization behind a website, stating its name, legal name, address, founding date, founder, logo, areas of expertise and sameAs profiles.

Extended definition

In more detail.

It appears on every page and is the anchor for entity recognition: engines read it to confirm which organization published the page and which external records describe it. Properties such as knowsAbout state the fields the organization claims expertise in, and founder connects the organization to a Person entity. The block should be identical on every page and generated from one source of canonical facts.

In our work

Where it appears.

The Organization block on this site is generated from a single configuration file so every page states the same facts. See entity and schema engineering.
